Christian D. and William Busse were the bank officer tandem who applied their pen signatures to this very scarce note that displays some rust damage. Six large are known for this Cook County institution that voluntarily liquidated in 1926 and therefore never produced small size notes. This same note first sold for close to $3,200 in our 2001 ANA sale and for that matter all auction results on this bank are basically strong four-figure prices.
