The sole note-issuing entity in this Putnam County town which came relatively late to the party, issuing only during the small size era. Virtually all of the auction appearances that we see are $10 Type 2 notes, with results ranging from one thousand to a few thousand each (just in September a note grading XF 40 topped the $2,000 mark. There are only three Type 2 twenties with this being the finest of that lot.
