A very scarce Boston bank that was in business for five years before shutting the doors for good in 1882. Large size only for this bank which produced 1875 First Charters. Except for a single gorgeous $5 note, this well margined PMG Fine 15 example is about as good as it gets. Less than a year ago, a PMG Fine 12 with tears topped the $1,500 price level.....this note should have no problems exceeding that figure.
