Most of the available notes on this bank are Third Charter blue seals and small size. This is one of only two $10 Brown Backs known on the bank and relatively few appear at auction. We have only sold two Brown Backs, both $5 notes. One grading Good for over $1,000 in 2008 and the other graded VF/XF and brought $850 way back in 1989. This abundantly margined example should make a few heads turn before the hammer falls this evening.
