Stunning example of a $10 Demand Note; only three districts issued this denomination. Preserved in incredibly high grade. In fact, the finest recorded is XF, although that has not been to any of the grading services. PCGS comments "discoloration on back; signatures faded; minor restorations" while technically accurate do little to detract from the beauty of this fiscal relic from our nation's paper money infancy. The all-important front is especially beautiful and the margins might be the largest on any example. A comment-free Fr. 8, also in VF 30, sold for $19,800 in January of this year.
