Located in the southwest part of the state, this was the only bank to charter in Galax, having done so in July 1907. Issuing just over $500,000 during the National Banking era, only $1,080 in Large size notes were unaccounted for in 1935. Purple stamped signatures, with some light stains in the top margin.
