Certainly one of Hartford's less common banks, which produced notes up through the Third Charter Date Back period. Superbly signed and bright with the eye appeal of a much higher grade note. The story behind the town name, Charter Oak, is quite intriguing but you will have to research that on your own since there isn't enough space here.
