In your cataloger's opinion, supported by auction records and grading service pop reports, counterfeits on this issue are about 15 times scarcer than regular issue notes. Every counterfeit that PCGS has graded from this series has an Apparent grade. They note here stains, restorations, and design redrawn. The eye appeal of this piece is superior for the grade and this is one of only two 10 shilling counterfeits graded.
