Very Scarce $10 1882 Date Back Forbidden Title

Portland, United States NB, P4514
Fr. 539 $10 1882DB
Grade:
PMG VF 20
Certainly dirt common by charter but very scarce as a type. This is one of only two Second Charter Date Backs known on the bank. Bearing an always popular "Forbidden Title," which again is a very scarce type for that. There are barely a dozen $10 1882 Date Backs from all Oregon banks and only a half dozen of this denomination and type in the entire country with the United States forbidden title. CAA originally sold this same note for over $600 in their 2000 FUN sale.
