A better Mohawk Valley bank which went out of commission in 1931, leaving us with only 20 large size representatives. PMG has noted Stains, which are rather light, and bold blue stamped signatures pop out at you. Herkimer's two most famous numismatic residents were F.E. Spinner, United States Treasurer, and Sheldon Moses, known as the "Herkimer Hummer."
