FIVE NOTES; all SPECIMENS serial numbers of zeroes prefix letter per series. The first 5 Colones punch cancelled SPECIMEN (#60) and printer's seals face and back; residue down right from album removal. Second 5 Colones MUESTRA overprint face only; earlier ERROR back variety "T. Villa". The 20 Colones punch cancelled without Specimen designation; ERROR text "Barba" bottom center. The first 1000 Colones straight MUESTRA face and back and six serial digits. The second 1000 Colones diagonal SPECIMEN face and back and seven serial digits. Some Specimens listed with strong Standard Catalog value, others unlisted. Outstanding research group. Sold as is; no returns.
