This beauty is one of two #1 notes recorded from this town and both were in the Higgins Museum. This is being deaccessioned. Listed in the Iowa census as Good because of flaws (tears) that have had perfect restoration. If I didn't tell you, you would most likely never know. The note is bright and fresh with excellent pen signatures of John H. Drake and Benjamin F. Elbert. Drake was the brother of Governor Drake.
