Until now only two notes from the first sheet of Brown Backs from this rare and desirable family named bank were known. Recently this, the third one, has appeared. Of course the note has slight handling visible but it has bold black inks and it's deeply embossed with exceptionally strong overprints as well. This family bank note is signed by C.E. Conrad, President and W.A. Conrad, Cashier. The last appearance of another from this sheet was a decade ago when that piece brought $33,350, which is the only sales record.
