This is the only serial #1 note from this bank of any type, including small size. Issued early, when the Brownbacks carried the bank's first title, this note is one of six examples with that nomenclature. Some light staining is noticed about the center and the edges have some splits, but this states' eager buyers may well overlook those faults in order to add an early #1 note to their collection. The last time this note sold it brought $9,200 in 2005. It should bring as much today.
