An extremely rare note from a bank in Delaware County that issued only First Charters and Brown Backs. There are two notes in the census, both $5 Original Series, with this the higher graded note by a wide margin. Kelley also lists a $5 Brown Back, albeit without a grade or any serial numbers. This treasure has outstanding color and full margins, as well as strong signatures. Since the collecting public has never seen the Brown Back offered for sale, and the other $5 Original entered a long term collection over a decade ago, this may be your only opportunity to cover this bank. You may have to stretch to buy this note, but it will be worth it.
