This is one tough bank. It issued lots of notes in its day, but it closed in 1912. After years of redemption, few examples remain. Of the seven pieces in the census, just two are $1 First Charter notes. No examples have been offered since this note was auctioned nearly a decade ago! Nice enough to satisfy any collector who appreciates rarity.
