This rare Lockport bank started off with big plans, issuing over 16,000 sheets of Original Series notes. The 1875 issue dropped precipitously to just 3,012 sheets and by the time they printed Brown Backs, just 1,715 sheets were ordered. About six years later, in 1890, the bank closed. This Original Series Ace is new to the census, making six First Charters available to collectors. With tight margins but excellent signatures. No notes have been offered on this bank in over 9 years.
