I first sold this note, and the two that follow, as part of a four note run back in 1998. The group disappeared for five years before reappearing in 2003, after which our consignor was able to acquire these three pieces. What most people did not realize in 1998, but we now know, is that original lot is the sole source for uncirculated notes on this "b" type. This first example is phenomenal. The colors and paper are so fresh, the note looks like it was printed yesterday. A Red Seal worthy of the finest set. Graded Gem UNC 66 EPQ by PMG.
