A note from Group 11, featuring the Baroque font used for the letters in "National Bank of" and then the distinctive tombstone, with the wheat stalks at either end. Even the town name shows similarities to the elegant style font of Group 15. Finally, the note is unique as a $5 Brown Back, being the only example in the census. There is nothing not to like on this middle-grade note.
