Tiffin is the seat of Seneca County and was founded in 1821, named for Edward Tiffin, Ohio's first governor. Tiffin is located on both banks of the Sandusky River and near three major rail lines that brought people through the town regularly, as well as giving the town an outlet for its iron and agricultural products. By 1888, Tiffin was home to six newspapers, 14 churches and two banks. Tiffin was also the home of the Tiffin Glass Company. Pretty much a type note, but at least it has a cute layout.
