Fr. 613 $10 1902RS #1
Grade:
VF/XF
This peach was once part of the Louis Van Belkum Collection, which was also the source of the serial number 1 $20 Red Seal on this bank. Number one Red Seals are very rare for the state of Michigan, as Kelley lists only six pieces, four of them from this bank. This note has several attributes of an Uncirculated piece, including blinding white paper, a fully bright red overprint and delicate pen signatures. Unfortunately, a few hard to see folds got in the way. Signed by John Hicks, President and R. C. Dexter, Cashier.
