Colorado Springs, Exchange NB, 3913
Fr. 1804-2 $100 1929T2
Grade:
VF +
A very rare type from any state and Colorado is no exception. These don't show up but every four or five years historically, but we sold a somewhat lower grade just last year. The Mayer Collection had neither a $50 or $100 Type 2. This note has a great look and should please the new owner. The town that General William J. Palmer founded and first called Fountain Colony prospered to become Colorado Springs, for the mineral water springs at present day Manitou Springs.
