Second Note Recorded

Saguache, First NB, 9997
Fr. 653 $20 1902ND
Grade:
Fine +
I was very pleased to find this great note in this Colorado consignment. The only known large size note was a Good 6 that sold in January 2004 for $7,475. This note is a pleasing Fine with some body and some surface dirt, but easily a problem free Fine +. There's a strong pen signature of the cashier and a light stamped signature of the president, but both are there. A note that is worth serious consideration. This town name comes from the Ute language word that refers to the color range that includes both green and blues. This was the color of the bluish stones and earth in the area.
