This #1 Red Seal and its "C" position mate are the best large notes available from the 49 recorded pieces in large size. The pen signatures are precisely executed by the President, W.D. Sproesser and the Cashier, D.H. Kusel. Absolutely cavernous embossing is seen throughout and the centering is good. Three years ago the "C" position note brought over $12,000 and that would not be an unreasonable figure today.
