Being involved in the U.S. currency business for over 40 years, it's pretty hard to get a meaningful item that I have never handled before. This is one of those items. It is my profound privilege to offer the UNIQUE and only known two note uncut sheet of U.S. currency. Back in the day when National Bank Notes were being issued, the government decided to print sheets of $50 and $100 on two note sheets, allowing more flexibility to the smaller banking institutions, and from those issues this is the only surviving uncut sheet. The Corn Exchange National Bank of Chicago was chartered in 1897, and before it liquidated in 1924 they printed 7001 two-note sheets of single $50 and $100 Brownbacks. In addition, they printed $5, $10 and $20 Brownbacks and 1882 Datebacks in $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, including both two and four note sheets of 1882 Datebacks. At this time, only one person can have the opportunity to own this incredible item. It s graded Uncirculated 60 NET by PMG, mentioning the strengthening of the fold between the notes.
