This is one of the rarest of all charters, #10 on a $10 1875 First Charter. This note has been known but without information for decades. In 2004 a VG $5 realized over $12,000. This has rarity and condition as only three notes are reported. The bank issued only First Charters between 1863 and 1882. It could only be better if it was serial #10, but it's not. Absolutely one of the prizes of the First 100 Charters Collection.
