Blair is near the Iowa border, north of Omaha in Washington County. The town had two National Banks and this is the only known example from either bank. The First National Bank issued only a few First Charters and closed in 1886 after four years. This bank opened in 1905 and was liquidated in 1915 after 10 years and a scant 5,033 sheets of Red Seals and Datebacks were issued. This note is well worn and the signatures are gone but will we ever see another note from here?
