Lot #1066 - PA-143 10 Shillings March 10, 1769

Colonial Currency > Pennsylvania

PA-143 10 Shillings March 10, 1769
Grade: PCGS Apparent VF 20     PCGS
No asterisk after date. The casual observer might wonder what this note is doing here but the Colonial savant is well aware of its presence. PCGS notes edge splits and minor paper pulls on back, both of which do little to affect the eye appeal. This higher denomination note has a meager printing of only 1,000 with Newman valuing it at $2,000 in Fine with no higher grade given. Bright, broadly margined and boldly signed this is one of the nicest examples we can recall having seen.
Current Bid: $ 150.00

Estimate: ($ 250.00 - $ 500.00)
