'Richmond, VA 1863' on the stamp. An intriguing piece as these T-30 notes obviously didn't have any kind of interest-paid stamps or anything of that nature. Back shows a rectangular box stating "Richmond, VA 1863." We don't know if this means much to Confederate collectors but it should be noted that our consignor fished it out for $287.50 in its last auction appearance.
