This note is exemplary in every way, shape and form as it is heads and shoulders above any other Fr. 1237 that we have ever encountered. While the occasional Fr. 1236 red back type achieves a high grade, this 'a' on face number never does. PCGS has graded a dozen or so of this variety with the next best example grading '66'. Huge margins and perfect centering are combined with great color to produce the finest known example of this variety. It is at venues such as this that the stars come out to shine and we are quite certain this one will produce some fireworks. The registry set collectors will be frothing over the opportunity to obtain this treasure and they won't be disappointed.
