This is as close to perfect as PCGS has come to grading any Colonial and we believe that PMG has never assigned a grade this high. We hate to wax poetic (ok so that's not exactly true) but this note is well deserving of all the accolades it receives. The note has perfect centering both top to bottom and left to right. The paper is as bright and deeply embossed as if it were printed this morning and the bold printing contrast is a showstopper. What miniscule nuance pertaining to this note that could make it perfect is anyone's guess as it appears to the naked eye to already be in that league. In our 2012 CPMX sale we sold the only other 69 PPQ graded Colonial, a note also from this issue, for $5,462.50. This note is every bit as deserving as that one of reaching a solid four-figure price.
