Grade:
PCGS XF 40
A truly astounding example that has that desirable combination of rarity and grade. This is one of the scarce higher denomination notes that did not survive in sheet form like the lower denomination examples did. It is bright and well signed with a bold horse vignette and the look of an AU example. Newman lists this at $2,000 in VF with no higher grade given. Essentially the same grade as the PCGS XF 45 PPQ that sold at auction recently for $1,725 and we would expect a similar price here tonight.
