We are not sure what the heck in this world it takes to warrant a superb gem grade on a Colonial note but this example certainly seems to have earned it. It has been blessed with gigantic margins, perfect centering, great signatures and wonderful print quality. For anybody out there trying to put together a condition census 13 Colony type set this appears to be the first note on your list. Newman lists notes from this issue at $1,500 in Gem CU which seems conservative for a note of this quality.
