Grade: PCGS Apparent Ch. Abt. New 55
An impressive example of this slash cancelled note that has deep embossing and excellent print quality. PCGS notes small edge splits which are seen at the sides of the centerfold. Notes from the January 1775 issue is definitely quite a bit scarcer than the common 1776 and 1780 notes. Newman lists this at $200 in VF with no higher grade given. Friedberg calls these rare in XF.
