Grade:
PCGS Very Fine 35
The non-Colonial specialist might have a difficult time truly appreciating this note but it is well worth all the ogling it receives. These rice paper notes were printed on thin and weak paper so virtually all known examples show signs of tears, holes, ink erosion and other such maladies. This beautiful note, which certainly appears to be Extremely Fine, has huge margins, great centering and bold signatures. By itself that would make it a real premium example. We have examined this note at length and there is not so much as a hint of a problem anywhere and that makes it a potential four figure item.
