Lot #2089 - Coon Rapids, First NB, 5514

National Bank Notes > Iowa

Coon Rapids, First NB, 5514
Fr. 1802-1 $20 1929T1
Grade: PCGS Abt. New 50     PCGS
This is one of the most highly sought-after odd names on any National Bank Note. This bank closed its doors on April 11, 1933 and this example comes from the last sheet of small size Type I twenties. There is a single fold to the far left that keeps the Gem grade out of reach. This exact same note sold for $1,725 at the 2005 Central States sale and while the market for Nationals is not what it was then, it should bring a healthy realization.
Current Bid: $ 510.00

Estimate: ($ 850.00 - $ 1,250.00)
