This is the issue with the handwritten dates. Until a few years ago this denomination was unknown until a small group of them were unearthed in the Southwest. In 2004 three of them brought about $7,000 each but prices have waned somewhat since then. This note has great originality and eye appeal and should fit as a popular type into someone's Colonial collection. In our last sale we sold a VF for $690.
