SC-158 $90 February 8, 1779
Grade: PCGS Abt. New 50     PCGS
Simply a wonderful example of this higher denomination Coram note, an issue from which uncirculated examples are virtually unknown. This note has solid signatures, exceptional printing and the number of folds consistent with the AU grade. Hercules wrestling with a lion is one of the many popular vignettes found on notes of this issue. This is routinely a four-figure note in this grade as eis videnced by the last one we can find sold was a PCGS Ch. AU 55 that sold at Long Beach 2011 for $1,840. This note is every bit the equal of that one and Newman values this at $1,500 in XF and $3,500 in UNC.
Current Bid: $ 1,300.00

Estimate: ($ 1,500.00 - $ 3,000.00)
