Continental Currency

Grade:
PCGS AU 53 PPQ
A lightly handled example of this early Continental series with great centering and easily detectable originality. One of the signers of this note is Ben Jacobs, long thought to be the second Jewish signer of Continental currency. Although this theory has been debunked in recent years it still carries a premium for notes containing his signature. The higher denomination examples from this series were printed in smaller quantities.
