This is one of those few banks that issued only $50 s and $100 s from the day it was chartered in 1900. The result was a fairly scarce bank for Nationals, with just three large and ten small notes reported. This sharp example sports a nice single-digit serial number. There are a few closed pin holes, but they are of little consequence. It has been nearly eight years since we have been able to offer a note on this bank.
