This tiny village in Rappahannock County is situated next to the Shenandoah National Park. Notes from here are exceedingly rare, with the census containing just two large and three small examples. However, like many good nationals, the opportunity to actually buy a note is even more rare than the note itself. This bank falls into that category. In records going back six decades, only one large note and one small note have appeared in a public sale. That occurred in the same FUN auction in 2003. Finally, seven years later, the underbidders get a second chance. A perfect fit for the assigned grade.
