Here is another great two-state named bank which is deceptively rare in small size. One might think it would be common, confused by the large size hoard on the First NB. Even this bank has 19 large size survivors bearing this second title. However, a paltry two small size examples are all that remain from a rather hefty issue. The bank went into receivership in 1930, which is probably why small examples are so rare. The only small note to appear publicly was in CAA s third auction in 1992. Very pretty and a key piece in a two-state set.
