A handsome, high-grade note and the sole Red Seal reported on the bank. The remaining large notes known consist of ten 1902 Blue Seals and one First Charter example. The stamped signatures of J. S. Weston, Cashier, and Wm. E. Hayward, President are easily readable. This town was named for England s Earl of Uxbridge, and the bank for the nearby Blackstone River.
