Lot #2436 - Hazard, First NB, 8258

National Bank Notes > Kentucky

Hazard, First NB, 8258
Fr. 651 $20 1902ND
Grade: VG
One of the great Kentucky town names, named for U. S. Navy Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, known for his service during the War of 1812. Eleven notes have survived on this large-only bank, and all are well circulated, with none exceeding a grade of Fine. This example has some light staining and a slightly rough top margin, but the overall look is quite acceptable. The bank officers signatures were there at one time, but have since faded away.
Current Bid: $ 650.00

Estimate: ($ 1,000.00 - $ 2,000.00)
