Brownbacks from Delaware are scarce. Less than 16% of the 294+ large size notes reported from the state are of this type. This fabulous note is not only from a scarce bank (eight notes reported) but it is also one of only two Brown Backs known on this institution as well as being the highest grade National from here. The outstanding pen signatures are a real treat. This note was originally from a 1971 Donlon sale and later a 1989 Hickman offering, where our consignor acquired the note. In the ensuing 20 years, just two additional notes have been available on the bank, obviously none this nice. If you were looking for a single Delaware note with personality, this note would do nicely.
