Whitesboro, Whitestown NB, E11284
Fr. 606 $5 1902ND
Grade:
PCGS VF 30
The village of Whitesboro is actually inside the town of Whitestown, which helps make sense of the bank's title. In any event, it is extremely rare, with just three notes extant. This is by far the nicest example. The bank stayed in business into the 1930s, but saw no reason to issue 1929 Series notes. This high-grade circulated note shows no problems and sports great pen signatures. Worth a serious bid.
