Fr. 1802-1 $20 1929T1
Grade:

This bank has close ties to the town which it served. Cockeysville was named for the Cockey family that helped establish the town. Joshua Frederick Cockey built one of the first homes in the area in 1798, and his son, Judge Joshua F. Cockey lived his entire life in the area. His son, Joshua F. Cockey III went on to establish this very bank in 1890. Large notes on the bank are quite scarce and rarely offered. Small notes are more available (19 are reported) and usually come nice. This bright note is no exception.
