FOUR NOTES; complete second printing set, with each piece's last two serial digits "82". According to Schwan's MPC Catalog, this series was intended for use in Vietnam. Schwan also states that "each denomination features the portrait of a celebrated American and the backs have scenes of Americana." Respective designs are books and Washington Irving/hay harvesting; "Franklin and Electricity", light bulb, and Thomas Edison/Rocky Mountain vista; Mount Vernon and George Washington/mountain view; steamboat Clermont and Robert Fulton/coastline vista. About 50 sets were distributed to collectors; more have not been seen. PCGS terms these: $1, "Very Choice New 64 PPQ"; $5, "Superb Gem New 68 PPQ"; $10, "Superb Gem New 68 PPQ"; and $20, "Gem New 65 PPQ". A marvelous opportunity.
