Manhattan, Advertising Note for Red Front Saloon, circa 1910
Grade: VG/Fine
A very rare advertising note for the Red Front Saloon & Bar on the back of a facsimile 1864 Confederate States $50 note. Manhattan is a ghost town in Nye County but was a significant mining town in the Belmont District. The Red Front was located next to the Nye & Ormsby County Bank, the ruins of which are still standing in the town. Well used, with some edge nicks and interior splits, but the only item of this type we have ever seen. A vintage photo view of the Red Front Saloon is included with this lot.
Current Bid: $ 1,200.00

Estimate: ($ 500.00 - $ 600.00)
