A scarce large note from the only collectible bank in Brown County. Ainsworth was the only issuing town in this rural county, and the bank was closed by the receiver in 1929. While a dozen large notes are reported, they are all in very tight hands and rarely available; recent large offerings of Nebraska notes have all lacked an Ainsworth example. This one has lovely two color pen signatures of C.T. Bower, Cashier, and J. M. Hanna, President.
